MATRKS ORGANZASYON YAPILARINDA PERFORMANS DEERLENDRME VE KARYER YNETM UYGULAMALARININ NCELENMES
 
Matriks organizasyon yaps 1960l yllardan beri farkl sektrlerde faaliyet gsteren birok iletme tarafndan kullanlmaktadr. Bununla birlikte matriks organizasyon yapsna ilikin akademik almalar 1970li yllarn sonu ile 1980li yllarn banda zirve yaparken ilerleyen yllarda matriks organizasyon yapsna olan ilgi gittike azalmtr. Yaplan almalarn ou matriks organizasyon yapsnn yapsal tasarmna ve tanmna odaklanrken matriksin insan tarafn ele alan akademik almalar olduka azdr. Bu sebeple matriks bir yapda performans deerlendirme sistemi ve kariyer ynetimi uygulamalarna ilikin bu almann yaplmasna karar verilmitir. alma kapsamnda, literatr taramasnn yan sra dokuz farkl sektrden toplam 87 iletme ile temasa geilmi ve 22 iletmenin beyaz yaka alanlar ile grme yaplabilmitir. Aratrmada yntem olarak derinlemesine grme teknii kullanlmtr. Derinlemesine grme iin ise, belirlenen konu balklarnda yar yaplandrlm soru formu kullanlmtr. Aratrmann kalitatif (nitel) bir aratrma olmas nedeniyle rneklem byklnden ok, doru veriye ulamak nemlidir. Sonu olarak bulgular sadece bu rneklem nda deerlendirilerek incelenmi ve kesinlikle genellenmemitir. Aratrmann daha sonraki aratrmalara deiken salayarak, bir temel tekil etmesi amalanmaktadr.

INVESTIGATION OF PERFORMANCE EVALUATION AND CAREER MANAGEMENT PRACTICES IN MATRIX ORGANIZATION STRUCTURES
 
Since the Matrix Organisations started to be used in 60s, it is used by several companies in several business sectors. However, while academical studies about Matrix Organisations reached to its peak in between the end of 1970s and early 1980s, the interest to the Matrix Organisation structure gradually decreased in the following years. Most of the studies are focused on organisation structural design and definitions. On the other hand, studies on the human-side of the Matrix Organisation are very few. This is why we decided to conduct this study on performance evaluation system and career management practices in a matrix structure. Within the scope of the study, in addition to the literature review, a total of 87 enterprises from nine different sectors were contacted and interviews were made with the white-collar employees of 22 enterprises. In-depth interview technique was used as a method in the research. For the in-depth interview, a semi-structured question form was used in the determined topics. Since the research is a qualitative research, it is important to reach the correct data rather than the sample size. As a result, the findings were evaluated only in the light of this sample and were definitely not generalized. The study is intended to be a basis for future studies by providing variables.
